Savana records are believed to be sold by Rose, Morris & Co who sold musical instruments under the same name and trade mark as shown on the record labels. The catalogue series started at 801 with 5½" records recorded & manufactured by "Edison Bell" (J. E. Hough & Co); though an image of No. 505 is shown in Don Taylor's English 78 Picture Book, which implies there are many more to find yet! This looks like an Edison Bell product, in which case it will be 6" in diameter based on the matrix number, so perhaps the 500-series are 6" records dating from the period where the 900-series was then being produced by Crystalate?

From about number 860, they increased to 6", still an Edison Bell product, then at 900 the manufacturer became Crystalate, who used masters also issued on their Mimosa label. At this time also a 10" series was introduced, also made by Crystalate, using masters previously available on "Imperial".

One cannot be sure when they were issued, without finding some sort of catalogue or advertising, but it is likely they started in about 1924 and were available until about 1927.
