Musogram

Musogram "Long Playing Record" was another brainchild of Percy Packman (see "Marathon"). These actually pre-date Marathon, as they first appeared in 1909. They were vertical-cut with a fine U-shaped groove giving an extended playing time. The following year came Musogram "Living Record" which has a coarser groove rather like Pathe discs (example right)
