Dominion

There were four series; the cream-labelled A-1 to A-267, the blue labelled "classical" B-1, the C-300 series mainly with red labels (though the first issue had a special white label (see scan) and the AE- export series, which had the same design of label as the normal A- series.

The company's own recordings use a 1000 series set of master numbers. The recording rooms were in Great Marlborough Street in London and Jay Wilbur was the musical director. Interestingly, trumpeter Sylvester Ahola recalled going there for the solitary session he made for Dominion, but says he never met Jay Wilbur, so perhaps Jay wasn't always present at these sessions.

 Masters from Cameo are in a 2000 and 3000 series, but after about Cat No, A-173, the Cameo masters dry up and from A-244, American masters are now from Grey Gull records. Once into the C-series, the American masters are sourced from Grey Gull, Plaza (ARC) and QRS. Some British recordings from Worldecho also appear on later issues.

The last image on the right was spotted on ebay, and is an Italian Dominion. It appears to have also been made in Italy.
