The Dolmetsch family were makers of various  keyboards instruments based in Surrey. The records bearing their name date to 1937 & 1938. They were 10" size with a catalogue series numbered DR-1 upwards and cost 4/- each.

The labels of DR-1 to DR-15 state they were recorded by Leslie Ward & Hugh Gough and pressed by Decca. DR-1 to DR-3 were all labelled as "Early Welsh Music Society".
DR-16 has an inscribed date of 29/9/48, so is much later than the others. It was recorded by Gui de Buire Ltd, 82-84 New Bond Street, London W.1.
