Dinky

An Edison Bell product, rather like the small "Bell" record, Dinky is very much rarer, though was probably available during the same time span. The only example I have uses a 3-digit catalogue series in the 400s, and the record is a little under 5½" in size. All artists are anonymous. I don't know if these were produced for a specific store, or whether they were another disc to be sold by Woolworths. The records date from 1924-1925.

Please e-mail me if you can help me fill in the gaps.

My thanks to John Culley for encouraging me to start this listing by providing details of the Dinky records in his collection.
Most of the other information is from the late Arthur Badrock.
The following people have also provided information:
Robert Girling, Ken Jobling, Mike Jones, Bob Lilley, Ian McPherson, Kenny MacMillan, Richard Prout, Steve Walker
