Sold by Walter Barber & Co , of 115, Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, London, there were two types of Barberphone record, both dating from pre-1920. The first used J. Blum & Co's matrices which were in a 1000 and 2000 series. The other Barberphone records are reported to be paste-over labels on Grammavox and Popular records.

Despite the information above, which may have come from Frank Andrews' research, the few items I am listing below seem to be from various series and also seem to be properly pressed in labels, and not pasted over.

The red label design seems to be a J. Blum pressing whereas the white label is from Grammavox.

Thanks to Rainer Lotz for the scan of the second label image.

This is a first attempt at a listing with information from the late Arthur Badrock.
Please
e-mail
me if you can help me fill in the gaps in any of these series.

Thanks to the following people who hve sent more information: Mike Comber, Bill Dean-Myatt, Norman Field
