My
home city (Birmingham) is actually in Warwickshire, but this page is for
pubs outside of the city, surprisingly not somewhere I visit very often
for drinking, considering how near it is to me.

Five Ways, near Hatton
- The Case Is Altered Case Lane, CV35 7JD, Tel: 01926 484 206; Case Lane runs just off the roundabout where the old Birmingham Road joins the A 4177. Not easy to find, but worth the effort. A small unspoiled pub, selling locally-brewed ales under the pub's name. These ales are brewed by The Old Pie Factory Brewery, of Warwick. This is one of only 4 pubs at which the beer is regularly available. Beer:
3 or 4 real ales. Last Visited: Friday September 20th, 2013 |

Rowington
- Tom O' The Wood Finwood Road, CV35 7DH, Tel: 01564 782 252; website; email: tomothewood@xln.co.uk The photographs are from the pub's website Quite an isolated pub, or so it seems when driving there, but it is right on the banks of the Grand Union Canal. Obviously a very old pub, but modern inside. It is geared towards eating, though there is a bar area. The floor is uncovered wood or tiled throughout, giving a rather hard (not cosy) "feel" to the pub. The hosts were very pleasant, helpful and enthusiastic. Beer:
Greene King IPA plus a guest beer
